The series dedicated to the Captains Regent of the Republic of San Marino, an office held for the first time by two ladies during the semester 1 April - 1 October 2017, celebrates the importance and the presence of women in the Institutions. The two female profiles with the three feathers, symbol of the Republic, although looking outwards, are linked by thin lines that intertwine to form and represent a common thought of balance, strength and positivity by the two women at the head of the State.
