The 17th Games of the Small States of Europe, a sport event for European States with a population of less than one million people, will be held in San Marino from the 29th May to the 3rd June 2017. The philatelic set is designed by Stefania Borasca and Matteo Sammarini, authors of the logo for the Games 2017. The €2.00 value represents a stylized tower of San Marino with a feather on the top and on the right a target shooting with 5 coloured spots, that symbolize the partaker countries. The €2.50 stamp shows stylized walls of San Marino and on the left the athletics track with 5 coloured lines.
